Finally, i have a firm full-time job. and i should say that i was so lucky that could get this job as an engineer, in a rather good, big company in Tehran. i have a regular monthly payment which is high in comparison with average wage for a fresh graduated engineer like me. i love it to be financially independant, however, its not easy to call it "independant" if i do some simple calculations like this : i should save all my salary for 3 years continously to afford a car, i should save it all for 13 years to be able to buy the smallest cheapes apartment in the worst location of Tehran, i should pay all my monthly salary to rent that apartment! but its still OK, i keep living with my family and try to let positive thoughts and ideas enter my mind, but not negative ones!
most other iranians are living the same situation and i'm one of them, i'm proud of myself that i can be active enough to make my own money. it tastes so good to me :)

Doing a full-time job makes you spend lots of hours with your colleagues, it seems like being in the heart of the society, i get to know more people and know people more! the only thing i dont like about it is the lack of sport, cinema, books, and being with friends.

i also like to update my blog more often, i got lots of encouraging emails and like to keep this window open, it lets others have a look at my world and lets me have a look at their world and sometimes wave hands for passengers who are passing .

Congrats on your new job, these days, it looks like you are the only one who pays a visit to my blog, it doesn't really matter that much. It is not worth that much.
I am glad you answered that woman with clearity. One thing to bear on mind is that forcing people to wear a certain uniform is a method of Population control. To keep people miserable, to keep them unable of expressing themselves is to deny them a voice. If you think about it IT IS A VERY EFFECTIVE method. It makes people feel ashamed and guilty. People who have no self-respect will allow others to rule them. Freedome of clothing is Freedome of expression. Once they allow people to freely express themselves, the jeanie is out of the bottle, once the jeanie is out of the bottle, it can't be put back with the barrel of a gun.
That being said, I've heard women are not that much under pressure nowadays. Sure they can't wear bikini or short or go with jeans and T-shirt but I've heard they can wear thin, see-through manteaue' and pull back the scarf as much as they want, without completely taking it off.
Now that in and out of itself is ridiculus, Why should they be forced to an irrational measure, only to be allowed to work around it? Any way, I just thought it is worth noting that regime hasn't been terribly successful.

Bonjour Fatema old girl,

Glad to hear that you are working and blogging as well.

As to the money you earn (about 400 Euro I guess): you are a bloody beginner, nobody jumps into life by being a general. Maybe in five year, you are hauling it in in big quantity.
Work for it, be creative and flexible.

Umm... Compare to Singapore... 3 years to buy a car, 15 years to buy a home is NOTHING.

A simple 3room flat cost S$160,000 which haven't include many other things such as fees and bills. Plus, you'd lose ownership of the flat after 99 years, and often shorter.

A car plus fees plus fuel cost would breed you at least S$1000 a month.

So... Can you drop by my site and tell me certain things about Iran I need to gather if I could go and retire there... someday.

Thanks alot.
